May 5th-June 10th, 2024, V
The Pearsican Civil War took place on May 5th-June 10th, 2024, V, within the Pearson Republic between the rest of the Nation and a Rebel Group known as the Pearson People's Republics. Roots of the conflict lay in when the President declared a simple decree that led the Colonies to try to separate from the Nation. Fallowing the 31-day conflict the Communist Rebels surrendered to the might of the Pearson Republic.
Beginnings
On May 2nd the President issued an Executive Order which halted the fishing of bass in the Pearson Republic was met with outraged in the Colonies of Begal and Ivringland. Pearsican settlers believed that it was their right to deplete the environment to fish as much as they want so they declared an illegal secession and declared themselves as a radical communist rebel group called the Pearson People's Republics. They had drafted their own laws, elected their own leader and had intention of reuniting the Pearson Republic with their Pearson People's Republics. Al-Fred Decoy (the rebel leader) was persistent with these goals and would not negotiate with the Pearson Republic. Nonetheless President Mason Pearson decided to try a peaceful diplomatic solution to the problem even though communist radicals seized our Nation's land. The President also stood firm on his law by explain that the rebels do not have the right of depleting and destroying the environment. That changed on May 5th, 2024, V.
Conflict Breaks Out
On May 5th Communist Rebels suck the P.R.S Higher Ground, a civilian ship at the Port of Skinkston which is historically known as the Attack at Port Skinkston, and was the final straw of our Founder, current President Mason Pearson. The President declared a Civil War has existed after this attack and will reunite the rebelling Colonies into the Pearson Republic.
Life During Wartime
Pearsicans during the month-long war lived normally but with propaganda posters in all territories of the country and even the President enacted guidelines for citizens to help out to win the Civil War. Guidelines incueded: Urging citizens to walk a little more to conserve fuel, avoid waste, especially food, find time for war work and buy War Bonds. We endorse citizens to stay off of telecommunication devices. Pearsicans are to stay off the telephones and avoid sending unnecessary telegrams to keep lines open for official communication. These actions helped our troops on the frontier to be safe and brought home sooner. Important reminders to evade loose talk that could be dangerous to our soldiers and the war effort. Conversations about troop movements, war production and general military information are demanded to be avoided. Little slips could've cost us lives and even the war to reunite our country.
Battle of the Bay of Begal
The Battle of the Bay of Begal took place on May 9th by the Capitol District of Skinkston on the Bay of Begal. The goal was to recapture the Colony of Begal from communist rebels. In late mid evening Naval Forces set sail to Begal and after some scrummages our Navy was victorious. Armed Forces occupied Begal and held a Public Vote which saw 100% of the population of Begal wanting to stay within the Pearson Republic. The Communist Rebels loss of Begal left the enemy Capitol, Basschester, vulnerable which helped us win the war quickly.
Battle of Irvingland Plains
The Battle of the Irvingland Plains took place on June 8th on the Colony of Irvingland. The President planned to stop the rebels by capturing the Enemy Capitol thus ending the Civil War. The Army arrived at Irvingland and where in the middle of the Irvingland Plains just five feet away from Basschester. While scouting troops where ambush by the militant rebels. The Battle lasted two minutes after our troops did a counter ambush and won. Armed Forces has occpeyeid Ivringland, Basschester and took prisoner of 99% of the rebel's army in addtion Rebel Leader Al-Fred Decoy. With that it seemed the Civil War was good as done until the County of Lindaland was under attacked.
Calhoun's Last Stand at Lindaland
On June 9th a group of Generals of the Rebel Army led by General M. Calhoun invade the County of Lindaland (which is a part of the Pearson Republic) and set an outpost on Freedom National Park which militant forces desecrated Native Arch (a National Monument). Govenor Linda notified the President which the Army landed on Lindaland to put an end of the Civil War for good. Armed Forces entered Freedom National Park to look for Calhoun. When the first sight of the Rebel began the Battle or Last Stand began. Lasting one minute Calhoun surrendered with that the idea of a Pearsican Communist State. Talks between President Mason Pearson, Al-Fred Decoy and Gen. Calhoun soon began at Bassomattox Courthouse.
Peace Proclaimed in the Pearson Republic
On June 10th at Bassomattox Courthouse, President Mason Pearson and Al-fred Decoy signed the Treaty of Bassomattox Courthouse which dissolved the Pearson People's Republics and put an end of the Pearsican Civil War. The President happy declared June 10th to be Memeorial Day to commemorate the victory of the Civil War. Life in the Pearson Republic turned back to normal even though there were desecrations and bad battle the Pearson Republic learned to always respect the environment.
