National Assembly

The Pearson Republic does have a dictatorial charm to it as a Nation, but we do have checks & balances in our democratic process. The National Assembly elected nationally by the people by seats is our bicameral legislature that advises the President and passes laws. The National Assembly has transformed from a council appointed by the President to a hyper-active legislature that checks the President's power.  The National Assembly has two houses the Chamber of Representatives (5 seats) and the Chamber of the Senate (3 seats) with the President being the Chair as Head of Government.

Even though the President proposes most of the legislation, the National Assembly has every right to reject the President's legislation. The National Assembly can regulation the Presidents Executive Orders (decrees), set up taxes, set up budget, nullify or back out of treaties and declare war & peace with states. If the National Assembly propose legislation not by the President that the President can then veto the National Assembly can enforce the bill with a two-thirds majority vote in both Chambers to override the veto. The Chambers can also override each other's rejection of a bill with a two-thirds majority vote.

Lindaland Entente Conference

Whereas the representatives here of the participating Nations agree to end this conflict in the name of peace, justice, national interest and to preserve peace for all Oklahoman micronations. Both the Gounash Nation and the Pearson Republic have entered peace talks to cease the Gounashian-Pearsican War & to bring peace to both of these great nations. The two nations have reached an agreement on this treaty. This agreement, if signed by both leaders in part of this Pact, with the ratification of the legislatures of participating countries shall go into effect on June 1st, 2025, VI. This treaty shall last one decade from its effective date which partaking Nations can choose to amend or re-ratify to this agreement.

Article I

The Gounash Nation shall remove and keep away any troops near one kilometer of Pearsican Territory. The Gounash Nation shall stop all infringement on Pearsican Territory. Gounashians shall treat every Pearsican with respect. The Gounash Nation shall repeal the 40% tariff imposed on the Pearson Republic, in addition to promoting Colin’s Trail Trade Route for both Nations economic gain. The Gounash Nation shall hold an initiative vote in Fiore Arbor if they would like to stay or secede from the Gounash Nation. This initiative shall be fair and on a secret ballot. The results of this initiative shall be accepted as law and must have the majority of Fiore Arborians participating.

Article II

The Pearson Republic shall remove and keep away troops near one kilometer of Gounashian Territory. The Pearson Republic shall stop all infringement on Gounashian Territory. The Pearson Republic shall open up trade between the Gounash Nation. The Pearson Republic will treat every Gounashian with respect. The Pearson Republic shall respect and recognize Gounashian sovereignty. The Pearson Republic shall grant Honorary Citizenship to all registered Gounashian citizens in accordance with its Constitution.

Article III

This treaty shall end any hostilities between the participant countries of the Gounash Nation and the Pearson Republic. Under the signage of this treaty, with ratification from the two Nations legislatures, the Gounashian-Pearsican War shall cease in a draw.

Skinkston Mayoral Resolution of 2025 VI

It is resolved in the National Assembly of the Pearson Republic on the eighteenth day of February, Twenty-Twenty-Five, VI, that hereafter which will be enforced as law that the appointment of the Mayor of the Capital District of Skinkston was elected by majority vote in the National Assembly. Proposition No.1 Resolve

Deadlock Tie Amendment

In accordance with Article 12 of the Constitution of the Pearson Republic we shall establish an Amendment to the Constitution in procedure of said Article 12. We want to amend Article Two, Section Two in addition to the Chambers of the National Assembly's procedures of passing bills in case of ties in either Chamber it will be Amended as: “In case if any of the Chambers are in a deadlock tie the Deputy President shall vote to break the deadlock tie. If the Deputy President is unable to vote in a deadlock either due to unavailability or being unanimously biased the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall break the deadlock.” This shall be Amended to the Constitution of the Pearson Republic on the twenty seventh day of January, Twenty-Twenty-Five, VI.

Bylaws Agencies Amendment

In accordance with Article 12 of the Constitution of the Pearson Republic we shall establish an Amendment to the Constitution in procedure of said Article 12. We want to amend in addition to Article 10 Section One in the case of Agencies and Institutions: “The Government of the Pearson Republic can mandate agencies and institutions without amending this Supreme Law of the Land, this Constitution, if its reason for existence is not up to Constitutional standards. Conservational Efforts Act 

It is resolved in the National Assembly of the Pearson Republic on the twenty seventh day of January, Twenty-Twenty-Five, VI, that hereafter which will be enforced as law the Pearson Republic, as a Nation, shall commit ourself to protect and revive wildlife to the best of our ability in the goodness of mother nature and mankind. Acts can include but are not limited to donations/volunteering to causes, planting of trees, harsher punishments of disobeying the Nations environmental law, etc. In addition to Pearson Law the criminal act on intent of causing extreme harm to wildlife/nature for benefits only for monetary gain and for greed in general shall be punished by a hefty 10,000 Puro fine or complete expulsion from the Pearson Republic.

Declaration of Liberation

It is resolved in the National Assembly of the Pearson Republic on the twenty-third day of November, Twenty-Twenty-Four, V, that hereafter its declared that a state of conflicted provoked by the Head Molecule of the Gounash Nation through a letter trying to usurp the National Assembly by try to convince the Nation itself to sell it own people into bondage to the Gounash Nation with additional reasons when the Head Molecule stated that he would only have peace talks with the Pearson Republic if the Gounash Nation can own it by force. Battlefields Act of 2024 (V)

Enacted on September 25th 2024, the Pearson Republic National Parks Services and the Ministry of the Interior and Environment shall enforce the establishment of protection of a site of the County of Lindaland, Freedom National Park and the erecting a new National Park called Irvingland Plains National Battlefields Park. In the County of Lindaland, Freedom National Park there shall be a protected area called Calhoun Battle Grounds which will be a quarter of the area between the center of the National Park and the entryway. In the Colony of Irvingland there shall be a National Park established called Irvingland Plains National Battlefields Park which shall consist of the old City of Basschester and the surrounding battlegrounds which battles commenced in the Pearsican Civil War.

Yungman Armistice Withdrawal of 2024 (V)

Recall Amendment of 2024 (V)

Enacted on September 5th 2024, V, Amendment to the Constitution of the Pearson Republic of the Declaration of Rights to Citizens shall add an additional right called Right to a Recall. A recall shall have a chance to remove any elected official of the Pearson Republic from office. Petitions for recalls must have at least 65% of the population signatures and to be approved by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court shall have all rights to hear the elected official being called for a recall. Once a recall is approved there shall be an election scheduled by the President or the National Assembly. The Recall Election shall state on the ballot if citizens would like to see the said elected official removed from office and give a nomination of a candidate to replace them. If the elected official is voted to be removed then the office shall be vacant until appointment by the President of the Pearson Republic or the nominated candidate who received the majority votes shall fill in the office. If the recall election fails to get an elected official removed then the individual shall not have a recall called on them again during that term.

Founders Rights Amendment of 2024 (V)

Enacted on September 5th 2024, V, Amendment to the Constitution of the Pearson Republic an additional Article:

Article 5. Founders Rights

Section 1: Mason Eli Pearson as the Founder of the Pearson Republic and Arthur of this Constitution shall possess curtain rights even if Mason Eli Pearson loses a government position in the Nation. The title of Founder is irremovable and the rights that come with it shall be either terminated by death or handed down which the decision shall be made by the Founder if they had declared their successor to inherent Founders Rights. Founder rights shall not be handed down to someone that is not a citizen of the Pearson Republic. Founder Rights can be terminated in a Supreme Court decision or a Public Vote.

Section 2: The Founder can form a succession plan for the President of the Pearson Republic, only in such cases the previous succession plan set by this Constitution is not followed or non-functional. If vacancies of government offices that have not been appointed yet by the Government of the Pearson Republic or steps that have not been executed by this Constitution then the Founder shall appoint Citizens to the offices. The Founder has the right to interrupt Pearson law and the Supreme Law of the Land the Constitution unless their interruption is overruled by the Supreme Court but if not the interruption shall be enforced as law. The Founder can advise all government officials or branches including the highest office of the land, the President of the Pearson Republic.

Personal Services Act of 2024 (V)

Animal Act of 2024 (V)

By law the Pearson Republic shall ban in safety of its animal citizenry any products from foreign countries that test their products on animals that are considered cruel and unjust. Dog Act of 2024 (V)

In coordination with the Constitution of the Pearson Republic which recognizes that animals such as dogs have rights that are promised and not taken away. Huntings dogs shall not be put down or killed unjustly for not performing well when hunting. It's considered a violation of the Declaration of Rights of Citizens of the Pearson Republic and recommended punishment shall be jail time or expulsion from the Republic. Referendum Act of 2024 (V)

Amended to the Constitution to the Declaration of Rights to Citizens there shall be a right to a public vote. A public vote of the Pearsican people shall be invoked by either a citizen of the Pearson Republic, the President or the National Assembly. The public votes shall be any topic of policy in proposals, laws or political issues of the country. Date on voting polls shall be regulated by the National Assembly. Bike Transportation Authority Act of 2024 (V)

Tariffs Act of 2024 (V)

Code Act of 2024 (V)

 These laws shall be enacted on January 30th 2024 (V).

• Corporal Punishments of mundane crimes shall be prohibited in the Pearson Republic, punishment shall be by fines or jail time.

• Gun insurance shall be implemented by law.

• If an individual runs over a pet with a vehicle they must pay for its body disposal, unless its a citizen of the Pearson Republic then it's deemed manslaughter. Punishment shall be a fine.

Convention Act of 2024 (V)

Amended to the Constitution of the Pearson Republic an additional Article Enacted January 30th 2024 (V):

Article 4. National Citizens Convention

Section 1: In times of crisis, emergency or any difficulty the President or the National Assembly with approval of the Supreme Court can invoke the National Citizens Convention of the Pearson Republic to meetings. The National Citizens Convention shall consist of all of the citizens of the Pearson Republic of the age of 8 and above to attend, and must be at least the majority of the population to make decisions. They shall decide how to conduct proceedings in session. 

Section 2: An member of the National Citizens Convention can propose a solution to the Convention and with majority vote of the National Citizens Convention shall be enforced by law. They can, if needed, have a 2-10 minute debate of the solution. The National Citizens Convention can authorize the Government, especially the President of the Pearson Republic, to take actions by law.

Statute of Skinkston 2023 (IV)

This Statute enforced by law shall restate the meaning of territory of the Pearson Republic. In the Constitution of the Pearson Republic it states that land that is directly owned by the Government is territory of the Pearson Republic. It is up to the people and the Government with bylaws, decrees or agreements where the boundaries of this country are. All territories like counties cannot secede from the Pearson Republic or dissolve its own claim to be a part of this Republic without a referendum. Before the referendum it must be approved by the National Assembly for this referendum to stay or join the Pearson Republic. Then after the referendum the results of the referendum have to be approved by the National Assembly and the Supreme Court of the Pearson Republic. Vassals under the Pearson Republic are to be considered territories and the Supreme Law of the Constitution still applies there. A Vassal shall not join another state or secede from the Republic without a referendum or agreement of a treaty by the Government of the Pearson Republic.This shall be enforced on December 20th 2023 (IV).

Admission of  West Hertloussa 2023 (IV)

Admission for the approval for the Territory of Hertloussa into a county. The County of West Hertloussa boundaries shall be an enclave in a tank within the Capital of Skinkston. • Individuals' property shall be protected by the Government of the Pearson Republic.

In Effect  September 20th 2023 (IV) the Pearson Republic shall outlaw the act of individuals putting their feet on the dash in cars and dangling their feet off of their car door even if the car doesn't have doors attached to it. Type of people punishable by this offense are:

1. People who put their feet on the dashboard or let their feet dangle out of the door of the car, especially Jeeps.

2. People who are driving the car and allowed the said things to happen.

3. This shall apply to people of all of the nation except under the age of 8.

Delegate Act of 2023 (IV)

Military Conscription Act

There will be an article added to the constitution on political subdivisions and Parliament must approve of it.

Section 1. In the Republic there will be three territories administered by the government. Each territory has a governor to oversee leadership and will be appointed by the Prime Minister. Territory law will always be the same as national law and be subjected by the Government of the Pearson Republic. The Ministry of Interior and Environment will give these territories names.

Section 2. No territory will secede from the Republic and is deemed treason and earn a life of manual labor. Governors can not make their own laws and the Prime Minister can remove the governor at any time if he threatens the people or law and order. Governors main responsibilities are to uphold the law and apply national law. The capital of the Republic will be its own special territory and will not have any governors and will be administered by the Ministry of Interior and Environment.

National Animal

Suggestion that the new national animal should be an alligator snapping turtle/skink. The Reason for this is showing these three characteristics that represent our country; toughness, Peaceful unless provoked and similar to the real thing but not quite. Our national bird is suggested to be an owl/cardinals/kingfisher/great blue heron. This is an agency that helps the government collect water for the citizens. The director is chosen by the Minister of interior and Environment and the Minister of Agriculture.

The postal agency will deal with delivery with mail and other letters for the nation. It can make and sell postage stamps and cards but all money needs to all go to the national bank. The supreme postmaster manages the agency, but the postmaster is appointed by the two presidents.

Pearson Republic National Bank 

The national bank holds its money foreign and national for all its government and people. Head of the national bank is just the minister of the Treasury. The national bank must hold individuals' money only in puros. The agency cannot make loans without the senate's permission.

Pearson Republic Recycling Agency and Pearson Republic Goods Customs Agency

PRRA makes sure all separation or plastic and other organic matter that harm the earth gets separated from garbage and is going to an organization that recycles things like that. PRGCA makes sure that all goods are not at all dangerous to the nation's peoples. Both are managed by a director and are appointed by the two presidents.

Democracy in the Workplace

All companies that are in establish or work on Pearson Republic soil must be managed and owned by the workers. The companies must respect this law or the police will intervene. The workers of the companies can work the business in any shape or form.
