My name is Griffin Gambino, and I was born and raised, and still currently live in Staten Island, NY. I am in my 2nd year of teaching Physical Education. Both of those years have been spent teaching elementary physical education for the NYC Department of Education at P.S. 42 The Eltingville School.
I am passionate about teaching PE. Much of that is due to the community of incredibly dedicated physical educators that I have found online through social media platforms such as Twitter. These educators inspire, encourage, and challenge me to be the best physical education teacher that I can be! As a result, I'm really excited and eager to implement the great ideas and creative resources I discover with all of my students. It's my hope that my students will leave my class with a love for physical activity and the skills, knowledge, and confidence to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
I graduated SUNY Cortland in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Education for Physical Education (K-12). I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Education for Physical Education Leadership.
