Dancers 6+ will have 1 required convention anytime from late September into mid/late October. 

Competition dance choreography is learned and finished by November/December. We have our in-studio rehearsal in December. Then once we come back from Christmas break, that’s when competition season really starts up!

We have our on-stage rehearsal in January, then we’ll have 1 competition in February, 1 in March, 1 in April, and then recital in May. It is also possible that we will attend nationals in June but that is something we decide later on. If we go to nationals, it will be out of state. Each competition normally runs Friday through Sunday of the one weekend we choose for the month.
