The PCRG is co-organized the 8th Northeastern Conference on Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education. The conference was held in a hybrid format on October 26, 2024, both online and by the Boston University – Wheelock College of Education & Human Development (Sam Cook was the local organizer).
Conference will be held in the BU Center for Computing and Data Science (CDS) on the 17th floor (with breakouts on the 2nd floor). The CDS Building is located at 665 Commonwealth Avenue. The virtual access will be held in the Zoom Conference platform and provided to all who register.
The CDS building is the uniquely shaped building that is supposed to mimic a stack of books a faculty member might have on the floor in their office and the 17th floor event space features 360 degree views of Boston and Cambridge.
The CDS building is a "zero waste" building so please bring your own coffee/tea tumbler and/or water bottle.
This year, we are suggesting participants to make a donation to help us run the event ($50 for in-person and $25 for online participants... but any amount you can donate helps!) While you are not required to make a donation to participate in the conference, we hope you are able to. Thus, this year registration has two steps:
NE-RUME 2024 Registration form (below). Every participant (regardless of form of attendance, whether or not they are presenting, or whether or not they are making a donation) has to fill out this online form.
Eventbrite Donation form. For those of you who are able and willing to make a donation towards the organization of the event (related to venue and technical support reservations) please follow this eventbrite link to make your donation.
