Chapter 4 - The Mole

**Mole Test – January 10^th (FRIDAY!)

You will need a scientific calculator, and will be provided with ONLY a periodic table

Test will be partial multiple choice but mainly written (calculations) type questions out of approximately 60 marks.

Will cover the following:

· All types of mole conversions (Make sure you show your steps!) and avogadro's number

· Whenever necessary, pay attention to sig figs!

· Empirical and Molecular Formula

· Percent Composition

· Lab 4C calculations and conclusions

· Molarity (M = mol/L)

· Diluting (M₁L₁ = M₂L₂) and Preparation of Solutions

· Molar volume (STP) 22.4L/mole
