Watercolors - Paint that REQUIRES water to move and mix colors
Mix watercolor with water on pallet BEFORE you apply it to the paper
Control and maintain the same value
Wet the paper first, then add watercolor
Gradual blending from 1 color to another
Oil pastel/Masking Tape
Sprinkle salt on wet paint
Create a value scale (Monochromatic)
Lifting Out - using a towel to GENTLY remove color
Overlap Primary Colors to make Secondary colors
Overlap Primary Colors and Secondary colors to create Tertiary colors
Use only one color to create a value scale
Choose 2 colors that are across from each other on the color wheel. Use one color as a wash, let dry, add the other on top.
