All band students, with the exception of beginning band, are expected to participate in Marching Band. The Paxon Eagles Marching Band performs at all Home Football games and some Away Football games.  The Marching band is the only one of the ensembles that satisfies the performing arts requirement for Band I, II, III, IV & V honors, that meets during the Fall semester. Marching skills and concepts are worked on starting in May and continued in Summer Band Camp in preparation for the fall halftime shows and parades that will occur the next school year. Performances at district Marching MPA's, Competitions, and collegiate campus visits and performances may be included in the experience. After school rehearsals occur daily.
