These students will start from the very beginning stage of learning their instrument. This ensemble will present two concerts as members of the concert band: one in the Fall semester, and one in the Spring semester.
As a continuation of the skills learned during the first year of study, Concert Band is designed for all band students not selected for the Symphonic band. . Concert Band students present two concerts throughout the year, and participate as part of the annual FBA festival.
Symphonic Band is an advanced performing group that challenges our most dedicated students with difficult literature. Symphonic Band students present three concerts throughout the year, and participate as part of the annual FBA festival. All students in Symphonic Band.
All students above beginning level must perform at FBA Solo and Ensemble. Audition for both the All-State and District Honor Band are highly recommended.
