One semester of marching band with a grade of “C” or better waives the .5 credit requirement of a physical education activity elective.

From the Jacksonville area, Mr. Buggs attended Edward Waters University and holds the distinction of being the universities first B.A. Music graduate. Mr. Buggs has taught on all levels of education Elementary, Middle and High School.
Mr. Buggs was also a member of the Florida A & M University Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Incomparable Marching 100 under the direction of Dr. William P Foster. University of North Florida Wind Ensemble under Dr. Leonard Bowie. Mr. Buggs has designed band field shows for first high school band performance for the Jacksonville Jaguars inaugural NFL season. Composer of the Edward Waters University Fight song.
Mr. Buggs is an active member in the Florida Bandmaster's Association(FBA), The National Band Association(NBA), The World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles(WASBE), National Association for Music Education(NAfME) and Florida Music Education Association, attending the annual FMEA conference in Tampa, FL each year. Mr. Buggs is currently the Director of Bands at Paxon School for Advanced Studies, and teaches Beginning Band, Intermediate and Advanced Band, Music World, and Music Theory.
