How Did The Beets Come To Be?

This resource was formed when a group of Village residents realized they knew so little about what was going on in the Village. When are Village Board meetings? (First & Third Mondays) Where can you get tomatoes? (Vinny's and La Guadalupana... to name two), What's going on in the old IGA plaza? (IDK for sure...) Social media is great for so many things, but sometimes we need something more. A fun and positive community (with no need to follow or friend anyone) and local information is what we were looking for. We believe in "The Village" approach in that it takes a village to make an amazing community. This applies online too! If each of us contributes something, this will be an amazing resource. There are happenings at hand that all residents should be aware of, but not all of us know or can find information about it. And so the Beets were born. We hope that our Village becomes full of Beets! What a beautiful and healthy garden we would be!
