The marksmanship team is compromised of 4 cadets per team, competing with a Sporter Air Rifle and shooting pellets downrange 10 meters at 20 targets in each the prone, standing and kneeling positions. Cadets join the Civilian Marksmanship Program to compete and participate in annual, regional, Navy and national competitions. cadets who join the marksmanship team are very competitive as a team and as individuals. 

Cadets also on this team will also have individual goals as opposed of just having team goals. (Note; There are still team goals.) Individual goals may include earning points in competitions in order to get difficult badges and medals to put on your uniform.
