The academic team is compromised of cadets who take their knowledge to the next level, not only familiarizing almost anything related with NJROTC and the military but also just about everything else,  including what happens recently on the news, English, Math, Science, History and along with other subjects. Cadets will be able to compete in and participate in annual, regional or national competitions.

Cadets also on this team will be able to participate in "Drill Meets" where cadets compete against other schools in Drill (all categories) , Athletics, Academics and UPI (Unit Personnel Inspection).
