Commanding Officer: c/CDR Gemeniano, Hyen

Hiii! As the CO, I work alongside the command team and the instructors to lead the battalion. I’m responsible for the overall direction of the unit.

Fun fact: I also love baking, especially macarons :O.

Executive Officer: c/LCDR Richardson, Samantha

Hello! I will be your guys’ XO. I am the CO’s right hand man, and alongside the Command Team, I manage the battalion staff and help ensure everything is running smoothly, as well as find areas we can improve in.

Fun fact: Some things about me is that I play water polo and swim year round, and I love my dogs and cat!

Command Master Chief: c/MCPO Moy, Hansen

The CMC will help all Cadets with any questions or concerns they have with the program. I work along side the command team to ensure the battalion's cadets are in a happy and healthy learning environment and that all cadets feel heard.

Fun Fact: I'm an avid hiker, D&D player, and baker.

Command Admin Officer: c/CDR Holland, Kajia

The Command Admin Officer is responsible for all NJROTC announcements, rosters, and the awards board. But more generally the CAO handles any administrative work the Command team requires. Overall the CAO serves as a supporting role directly under the Commanding Office.

Fun Fact: I want to be a ship captain someday, I like boat.

Navy League Team Commander: c/CDR Santimaw, Caleb

Hi! I am the team commander for our NJROTC navy league team. That job entails me managing the practice schedule for all of our teams as well as, working the team commanders to create effective practices. Along with my duties as NLTC I work side by side with the command team on larger scale projects that affect the battalion.

Fun Fact: I love mountain biking and playing d&d

Brigade IT Officer: c/CDR Kostrinsky, Hank

I manage the website for the School District's Joint Brigade, which runs events like Cadet Picnic and Cadet Ball for JROTC's across the district.

Fun fact: I would love to move like an chimpanzee.

N-1 Admin: c/LT An, Janet

My job as the Admin officer is to keep track of every cadet’s awards, service hours, and other related info! If you have questions on whether you earned a ribbon, how many unit service hours you have, etc., chances are, I will know :)

Fun fact: I like really dark chocolate (like 80% or 90% cacao)

N-2 Educations: c/LTJG Mohamed, Fatma

Some of my duties as the Educations Officer are updating resources like the Board of Education, the Gouge sheets, and the current events sheet. It’s also my job to cultivate programs such as our tutoring program & to connect cadets to opportunities such as scholarships.

Fun fact: I once went on a ridiculously long road trip & nearly died of snow

N-3 Operations: c/LT Miller, Ghost

I work with command team and the instructors to work out events! I communicate with ASB for school sponsored events.

N-4 Supply: c/ENS Elam, Aaron

Howdy everyone! Im the N4 Supply Officer for the patriot battalion! My job is to take count of inventory for the unit as well as issue out uniforms items to cadets! Im also the person held accountable for the things that are happening in the supply room. If you need any uniform items, please contact your platoon commander and platoon supply clerk

Fun fact: Im a WW2 history buff and I LOVE persona

N-5 Public Affairs: c/LTJG Danh, Thuy Tien

Hi I’m your PAO! My job is to run the battalion’s social media, gallery and website. I'm in charge of promoting and photographing all fun events we're gonna have this year! You can usually find me or my PA chiefs behind the camera at events and Navy league meets.

Fun fact: I have a crochet problem.

N-6 IT: c/LT Pitney, Vernon

I am NOT the lame IT guy! In fact, I help ensure the battalion's electronics are fully functional for such events to create happiness and not leave it to chaos :). I'm also your Armed Exhibition Team Commander.

Fun fact: I really like mayonnaise (the best condiment).

Community Service Officer: c/LTJG Dawson, Jahan

As the community service officer, I lead the bi-weekly meetings, and I scout for opportunities and events. I help recruit more members to the club by advertising. I also update our Discord server with announcements and Instagram Posts to all club members about upcoming events, meetings, etc.

Fun fact: I love the beach

Color Guard Coordinator & 6th plt PC: c/ENS Nguyen, Jonathan

As Color Guard Coordinator, my job is to manage and organize color guard teams and teach cadets color guard drill to prepare them for events. Along with color guard, I manage flag detail, in which I train cadets how to handle to the school flags in the mornings and afternoons and in doing so, cadets can gain unit service hours for the unit service ribbon. Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you are interested in learning color guard or be part of flag detail.

Fun Fact: Gimme some of that carne asada fries!!!

First Lieutenant: c/ENS Hui, Suri

As 1st Lieutenant, I maintain the cleanliness of the RO rooms with a list of tasks delegated to cadets to clean the rooms. I also organize the days during school hours, where each platoon will be rotated for cleaning the RO rooms, which are field days.

Fun fact: I aspire to be a chicken and indeed a height of 33,000 km

Treasurer : c/CPO Rubio, Ezmeralda

My job as a treasurer is to coordinate fundraisers and oversee the operation of the battalion's snack shack. I aim to ensure that all fundraising activities are properly planned and executed, as well as maintain the inventory and finances of the snack shack to ensure that it continues to be a valuable resource for the battalion.

Fun fact: I have a better cat then Pitney 👹

Armorer: c/SCPO Montoya, Wynter

As Armorer, I fix the rifles to my best of my ability making sure they don't fall apart and that they are to the highest quality. I also make sure the armory is nice and tight.

Fun Fact: I have two leopard geckos and play 3 instruments

Human Resources Alpha: c/LT Gariss, Harmony

I work along side with Edgar (HR Bravo) to manage promotions within the battalion. As well as help enlisted cadets promote through the ranks, and test many different categories such as drill, push-ups/sit-ups, and even an academics knowledge exam. If you even need anything feel free to hit me up even if it has nothing to do with promoting.

Fun fact: both my elbows are double-jointed

Human Resources Bravo c/LTJG Wilson, Edgar

I manage promotions within the battalion and I work very closely with the other HR officer. I also help enlisted cadets promote through the ranks. I test many different categories such as drill, push-ups/sit-ups, and even an academics knowledge exam. Feel free to talk to me about any questions you may have about promoting and stuff, I promise I won’t yell at you.

Fun Fact: I may be a little afraid of escalators

Plan of the Day Officer: c/CPO Luu, Tina

My job as POD is to work with command team and instructors to ensure cadets are prepared and ready for daily tasks and future events. Please feel free to come up to me to say hi, and to talk to me if you have any questions about events or just to chat! :D

Fun fact: I have been doing computer science since 5th grade and was part of the battalion’s cypat team!

Safety Officer: c/ENS Debrum, Tonica

My job is to make sure that everyone stays safe, hence the name, and ensure that everyone is feeling their best, in order to perform their best . I often go to Navy competitions and Battalion events to help assess, prevent and take care of possibly unsafe situations. Please feel free to find me is someone is hurt or if you ever need a band-aid.

Fun fact: Water is fire.

Interventions Alpha: c/LTJG Nguyen, Sophie

As one of your interventions officers, my counterpart and I are responsible for looking after the mental wellbeing of cadets (you lot) so if you find yourself feeling a little stressed out or under the weather, please don’t hesitate to come find us! Looking forward to meeting you all this year!

Fun fact: avid comfy games player and music connoisseur (talk to me about anything from laufey to kendrick; open to recs as well!)

As interventions, I deal with interbattalion issues as well as personal issues. I will be open to anyone who is willing to talk and I'll be happy to help or just be a friend!
