- Contribute to the continuing education of all PCSCA members with the goal of improving school counseling services within our county.
- Promote understanding, development, and acceptance of counseling principles by members, schools, and communities.
- Organize and conduct programs of mutual interest and benefit to members.
- Cooperate with and support the state and national counseling associations (NJSCA, ASCA, NJACAC, NACAC)
- Support and provide professional development opportunities for PCSCA members.
- Provide information to our membership about local, state and national legislation impacting education, school counseling, and post-secondary education.
- Inform membership about outside professional development including conference, tours, webinars, and other activities of interest.
- Maintain website links to counseling resources.
- Encourage counselor advocacy
