Regular membership ($30/school year) shall be open to any person employed in Passaic County as a school counselor, SAC, or school counseling director/supervisor in public, charter, or private elementary, middle or secondary school.
School counselors who have been PCSCA members for five years or more may choose to continue as Regular members upon retirement, if desired.
Associate membership ($25/school year) shall be open to those who are interested and wish to help promote school counseling services in public and private schools, colleges, and post-secondary institutions of New Jersey. Associate members may attend meetings but may not hold office or vote.
School counselors who have been PCSCA members for two years or more may transfer their membership to Associate members upon retirement.
Associate members may be:
College admissions professionals
School counselors employed outside of Passaic County
College counselors in public/charter/private secondary schools in or outside of Passaic County
Child Study team members working in or outside of Passaic County
Principals and other administrators
Independent Educational Consultants (IECs)
Graduate student membership ($20/school year) shall be open to any student pursuing a master's degree in school counseling who attends a local program, interns in Passaic County, or lives in Passaic County.
ALL members must complete the membership form to the right. This helps us to have complete, up-to-date information to create a database of counselor information.
