Awards and Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded each spring to high school students from schools in Passaic County.  Recognition awards are given to elementary/middle school students and to students pursuing graduate degrees in school counseling. Retiring school counselors who have been active in PCSCA are also recognized.  Please contact PCSCAScholarships@gmail.com with any questions.

2025 Scholarship Application Forms will be available in the spring. 

• High School Senior Scholarship - application open to any senior attending a high school in Passaic County.  At least one member of the school's counseling staff must be a member of PCSCA.   Application must be completed by the student. 

• 5th - 8th grade Recognition Award -  Counselors who are members of PCSCA may nominate a student in grades 5-8 who demonstrates outstanding character & dedication.   

• PCSCA Graduate Student Membership Award - graduate students who are interning in a school in Passaic County can apply for a chance to win a free membership to PCSCA for the 2024-25 school year.  Must be referred by a current PCSCA member.        

• PCSCA Retirement Recognition - This is for PCSCA members retiring sometime during the 2024-25 school year.  Please complete for yourself or a colleague who retired/will retire between Sept. 1, 2024 and August 30, 2025.
