To protect the health and well-being of all children and families, Part of Your World Home Childcare follows a strict illness policy. 

Children must be well enough to fully participate in all daily activities. If a child shows signs of illness, they will be required to remain at home or be picked up promptly if symptoms develop while in care. 

A minimum 48-hour symptom-free period, without the use of medication, is required before returning to care. This timeframe applies to all illnesses and begins only once symptoms have completely resolved. 

For the safety and stability of the program, enrollment is based on a reserved childcare space. Fees remain payable regardless of whether your child utilizes care days. 

All policies regarding allergies, immunizations, medications, and illness are outlined in the Parent Handbook and are reviewed with families before enrollment. 

Open and timely communication is required to help ensure the health and safety of the entire group.
