Program Routine & Rates

Admission Information: 

To ensure the best fit for both the child and the program, interviews may be conducted with multiple families when a space becomes available. Enrollment decisions are made after all interviews have been completed. 

Important Information Regarding Enrollment: 

Future Start Dates
Currently available spaces are not held for future start dates unless enrollment has been confirmed and weekly tuition payments are initiated to reserve the space. 

Enrollment Structure & Tuition : 

Our program operates on a year-round, enrollment-based model and does not follow school staff schedules, school calendars, or school closures. Tuition is based on enrollment and space holding, not attendance, and remains due regardless of the child participating or not, family vacations, or illness, etc.

PA Days / Before & After School Care
We do not currently offer PA daycare or before-and-after school care for school-aged children. When available, these days may be offered exclusively to currently enrolled families with school-age siblings, subject to space availability. 

Summer Care
Summer care is offered exclusively to currently enrolled families with school-age siblings, subject to space availability. 

Waitlist
Families interested in future enrollment are encouraged to join our waitlist by completing the Child Information Form located at the top of this page. 

Program Schedule
The program operates on a fixed schedule year-round. Care outside of posted program hours cannot be accommodated.

Retainer & Termination
A non-refundable retainer equal to two (2) weeks of tuition is required upon enrollment. This retainer is applied to the child’s final two (2) weeks of care, in accordance with the four (4) week termination notice requirement outlined in the contract. This applies to all enrollments. 

Contracted Hours
Care must be scheduled within the following program hours:

• Mondays: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Tuesdays to Fridays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  
  

Families are required to adhere to their individual contracted drop-off and pick-up times. Pick-up must occur promptly at the contracted time. Program hours and days of operation are subject to change with notice.

Interview Process/Info

Virtual Interviews

Virtual interviews are offered to allow families to get to know our program from the comfort of their own home. 

Interview Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy 

Families are kindly asked to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ written notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled interview. Advance notice is greatly appreciated, as it allows the provider to adjust scheduling accordingly. 

We understand that life happens, and unexpected situations such as illness or family emergencies can arise at any time.

• One (1) re-booking may be offered at the provider’s discretion, based on availability and scheduling needs.

• Additional rescheduling requests may not be accommodated.

• Missed interviews without notice may impact future scheduling availability.

Driveway Meet & Greets 

Driveway meet and greets may be offered as a convenient opportunity for families to view the outdoor play space and ask brief questions. 

Childcare Communication App

Families stay connected through our childcare app, which provides real-time updates on daily activities, meals, naps, and important notices. 

Sickness Policy

Strict adherence to the program’s sickness policy is required to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all children and families. 

Ministry-Compliant Ratios

The program strictly follows Ministry Child Ratio Allowances, with:

• A maximum of 5 daycare children

• No more than 3 children under the age of 2

• Children of the provider over the age of 4 are not included in the ratio

Important Information: 

Please note that as an independently operated home childcare provider, we are not affiliated with a licensed agency and are unable to offer subsidized care. Additionally, the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, offering $10/day daycare, is currently unavailable to independent home childcare providers.
