PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!
For write it do it, we just practiced a bunch of times. I think that we definitely could have tried to reverse the roles with my partner writing and me building, but we never did. One tip for next year would be to have both people in the event try both positions.
You may follow these if you want:
The person with the better handwriting should write
Stay focused on your build and don’t look at the competition’s builds
This will take up time
The other teams may be building it wrong
Read the instructions carefully
Be concise on explaining what piece is what
Legos could be given for example, describe each piece
Do not waste time as a writer
Whatever you write is what you have for the builder
