Time management and organizing activities
The challenge that I had to face while teaching was that It was the first time I taught young students just like Grade 1 and I found that their behavior was quite different from other levels because they were younger and needed a lot of attention and they seemed to lose concentration quickly.
Therefore I used many fun games and gave them awards to catch their attention and make them engage to my lesson more.
The teaching time for Grade 1 St. Rose was 1 hour and 30 minutes. The amount of time was quite challenging for me at first since I had never taught this long before. Therefore I had to make a longer lesson plan and organize my activities in class to fit my students' interests so the class would be fun and not boring for them.

Reminded students about the classroom rules that they had to follow before starting the lesson and gave the awards to students who followed classroom rules the most at the end of the lesson to be a good example for other students.
Commanded with the numbers 1-6 and students would act according to teacher commands. The teacher would do that when they started to lose focus.
The teacher used the command clap your hand 1 times 2 times and so on.
