Whether leading freedom songs for hundreds of people, marching arm-in-arm with community members, shouting on the courthouse square for equality, leading prayer during vigils, writing letters to the editor, hosting speakers and educations events for the community to learn about a social issue, there are so many fleeting moments that we hope lead to some measure of lasting change. I have had countless opportunities to add my voice and my energy to causes and I am honored for each and every invitation.
