Daniel Ace Batas Mercado is known by various names like Kuya Pres., Kuya DA. His aspiration is to become a lawyer, inspired by Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales.
His educational journey began at Simple Day Care Center for preschool and Sto. Domingo Day Care Center in Biñan. He started his elementary education at Biñan Elementary School later transferred to Pamatawan Elementary School in Subic, Zambales, in 2014. Throughout his schooling, he engaged actively as a student-journalist, student-leader, and scout, holding 22 different positions within various clubs and organizations. Noteworthy achievements include his roles as 5th President of the Supreme Student Government, Editor-in-Chief of Ang Mandaragit, and being part of the pioneering batch of Microsoft Youth Ambassadors in the Philippines.
He received many awards, including "Journalist of the Year" and "Leadership Awardee" in 2022.
