Wolf Den - 2nd Grade
LEADERSHIP
DEN LEADER – Hilario Baca | hbaca@gmail.com
ASST. DEN LEADER – TBD | email
The Wolf works toward earning his Bobcat rank (if not earned the previous year) and then his Wolf Rank badge with his den or family. Each Wolf must complete six core Wolf adventures and one of the thirteen Wolf elective adventures to receive his Wolf Rank badge. After completing an adventure each Cub Scout will receive an immediate recognition award in the form of an adventure loop that he can wear on his belt. Adventure loops are color coded and specific to each Scouting year. Wolf year adventure loops have red edges.
After he has earned the Wolf badge, a Wolf Scout can work on the remaining Wolf electives until he finishes second grade (or turn 9 years old). He can choose elective adventures that may show him new hobbies and teach him skills that will be useful during his Boy Scout years. When he completes an elective adventure, he receives an additional adventure loop to wear on his belt.
Meetings Our den meetings are held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church @ 6:30 pm on Monday. Look at the Pack Calendar on the web site.
Our Goals A family, home, and community-centered program that encourages ethical decision-making skills.
Summary The boys will learn more about staying healthy, knowing their home and community, tools for fixing and building, cooking healthy, being safe, making good choices, and much more.
