The Vado hosted a meaningful and engaging Lenten event that brought together the Vado community for reflection, prayer, and fellowship at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Drexel Hill, PA. The event, attended by over 37 guests, began with the traditional Way of the Cross, which was prayerfully led by the children readers of the stations.
After the prayer service, attendees gathered in the church basement for a potluck lunch. The shared meal offered a time for fellowship, where guests enjoyed a variety of homemade dishes, contributing to a sense of community and togetherness during the Lenten season.
As a part of our giving effort, the children and adults made over a 150 Ham & Cheese and Turkey sandwiches and delivered them to the Life Center - Eastern Delaware in Upper Darby, PA

The Vado community came together to celebrate Easter with a day filled with joy, fun, and togetherness. The event began with over 70 guests attending mass at SS. Philip and James Church in Exton, PA, creating a spiritually enriching start to the day.
The main celebration took place at the Rhondda Community Hall, Exton, PA. The day began with a warm meet-and-greet session, where attendees connected and shared the festive spirit. The children enjoyed an exciting Easter egg hunt, which brought laughter and smiles to their faces.
Lunch was catered and offered a delicious spread that everyone enjoyed, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Following lunch, games organized by dedicated Vado volunteers brought energy and enthusiasm to the afternoon, engaging participants of all ages.
The celebration concluded on a delightful note with tea and snacks in the evening, allowing attendees to unwind and reflect on the day’s happiness. This event was a testament to the Vado community's spirit of togetherness and shared celebration.

The Vado community came together for a delightful picnic filled with fun, laughter, and camaraderie. The event saw an overwhelming attendance of over 95 guests, including kids, adults, and seniors.
The day kicked off with a variety of entertaining games catering to all age groups. Families enjoyed the lively atmosphere and engaging activities, which brought out the competitive and playful spirit in everyone.
Guests were treated to a delicious catered lunch that was both satisfying and enjoyable. Post-lunch, the fun continued with more games and activities, ensuring everyone remained energized and entertained.
The day concluded on a relaxing note with tea and snacks, allowing attendees to wind down and share moments of joy before parting ways.

The Monthi Fest celebration, commemorating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, was held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Drexel Hill, PA. This special occasion, cherished by Mangalorean Catholics worldwide, featured the blessing of new paddy and the sharing of the traditional Monthi Fest meal.
The event began with guests gathering at Mother Mary's Grotto behind the church for veneration and offering flowers. Following prayers, the statue of Mother Mary was carried to the church for the Holy Mass. After the Mass, everyone convened in the church basement for a delicious lunch prepared by the Vado organizing team. The afternoon continued with engaging games, concluding with tea and snacks. It was a joyous and spiritually enriching celebration for all attendees.

The Vado Annual Christmas Event celebrated the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in a spirit of love, hope, and peace. Held at the Exton Hotel & Conference Centre, the evening brought together guests to revel in the joy and blessings of the season.
The event featured:
A specially catered traditional Mangalorean dinner.
Musical performances by children and youth.
Spot prizes given throughout the night.
DJ Gladson, who kept the crowd dancing all night with fabulous music.
A special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Santa, delighting kids and the young at heart.
In the spirit of giving, Vado generously donated to two selected charities. The night concluded with an exciting raffle, where guests won fabulous prizes, marking the event as a joyful and memorable celebration.
