Way of the Cross

In keeping with our catholic traditions of lent, the members of our vado got together to pray the Way of the cross. Our Lenten get together took place on the 23^th of March at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Drexel Hill, PA. The stations were led by our vado kids.

Fr. Prashant Lobo graced the occasion and gave us a spiritual lesson about the meaning of Lent. We sang beautiful hymns in Konkani and English. After the prayer service, all members got together in the church hall and shared a delicious pot luck meal. The vado kids got an opportunity to participate in a service activity of making dog treats and toys for the Brandywine valley SPCA. The kids put in a lot of effort and baked several batches of cookies and made over 30 toys for their furry friends.
