Christmas

“It’s Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air”. We at the Bhagevonth Kutam vado had a blissful Christmas season this year. Our annual Christmas Yuletide ball took place on the 15^th of December at Clarion hotel and conference center. Months of planning culminated into a successful and much enjoyed evening for all our guests. The event was a full house and 150 members of our vado got together to celebrate the upcoming season as one big happy family.

The evening started with a meet and greets, fun ice breaker games and delicious appetizers catered from Mangalorean kitchen (New York). We then had our vado youth present a slide show of the activities they participated in during the year and the performance of the kids Christmas choir-“The sounds of Christmas”. The choir instantly put everyone in the spirit of Christmas. The kids gave an absolutely brilliant performance and were stars of the show.

The evening went on with lots of dancing to foot tapping music by DJ-Azim from Kamath entertainment group. The crowd enjoyed a wide variety of music from bailas, to western popular, romantic blues and slow waltzes. It was an evening to remember with lots of spot prizes and incredible raffle gift baskets.

Our Christmas yuletide ball was a roaring success. We had guests stay right till the end catching up with family, friends, enjoying the lovely music, delicious dinner and desserts. We had great feedback from our guests after the event and some of our guests felt they were able to relive the nostalgia of their childhood Christmas moments that night.
