In the semester 4/1 (June 2023 - January 2024). I joined Protomate's Electrical Engineer team as an intern. Gain so many intense experiences here such as advanced PCB designs(6-Layer, Flex), project management, etc.

This internship is a part of FRA504-505: Work Integrated Learning. Which a course included in FIBO, KMUTT's bachelor degree.

My Task

Long Length Camera Cable Interface Circuit

Design & Implement

Research, design & implement a solution to interface the MIPI-CSI Camera to the processor with a “long cable” (at least 5m.), SerDes solution is selected. Connect the MIPI camera to the processor with a serializer - deserializer set which uses CAT8 as a transmission cable.

SoM Carrier board for multi-camera Interface

Design & Implement

Design the carrier board PCB for a System on Module (SoM) to interface with 6x cameras (MIPI-CSI). The carrier board supports USB, HDMI, RJ45, Wifi card, PCIe SSD, etc. Multi-layer, high-speed signal is a concern in the PCB design process.
