Common Responsibilities in MR
ModMed is our primary system used for checking in, checking out, collecting payments, and making appointments. It combines EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and PM (Practice Management)

Phreesia is used for Patient Self Scheduling and Check-in. The paperwork that patient complete is through Phreesia and is sent automatically.

Joints is used for radiology imaging. X-rays and MRI's are saved into joints. Additionally if the patient brings a disc, the Radiologic techs will upload those images to Joints as well.
Please note for Joints there is an auth code when logging in on a new computer for the first time. This auth code is the same for all staff:

Checking in and out MRI patients.
Schedule MRI and MRI results appointments.
Call and confirm appointments for the following day.
Answer phone calls and check for voicemails.
Go through screening forms with patients.
Review MRI orders for accuracy.
Review screening forms with patients.
Prepare patients for scan.
Operating the MRI machine.
Stay knowledge on implant guidelines and safety protocols.
Monitor patient well-being during the scan.
Review images for quality and clarity.
Downloading from Medtsrat to Computer
Insert Blank CD into CD Burner
Find patient in Joints
Check the box next to the correct patient/exam
Click Download Study icon
Click Iso File for CD Burning
You will then get a pop up that says your download is ready for use...
Click Download Iso File for burning again
Click on the Download Icon in the top right of the internet search bar
Taking the Download and Burning it to CD
Click on Downloads
You will see your "email address-pts name" as file name
Click this file and click Burn Disc Image
Click Open
A pop up with open and click Burn again
Verify Images
Once it has completed burning, take the CD out and reinsert it
Click on View Study
Make sure images are there and for correct patient/exam

Every Night Set up Daily QA in Head Coil- Center on the marking on the coil.

Click "Coil Check- HeadNeck 16" and unclick any other coil
Hit Go
a. You will get a pop up to confirm your centering/set up. Click OK.
When it is done you should have green OK by it.
Patient Browser Tab
Go to patient browser
Type in "ACR" in search bar
Hit enter
Find most recent ACR weekly
Right click on this and select "New Examination"
Patient Registration/Exam Selection
Enter in Height = 6'0" and Weight = 200 lbs
Program selection = OSSWF >> Head >> Brain >> MRI Accreditation
Body Part = Brain
Patient Orientation = Head First, Supine
Hit Exam
Scanning
Hit Go (twice) to run the first localizer
Set up sagittal loc off of the first one.... BEFORE you hit go
Go to system - adjustments - manual adjustments (bottom rt of screen)
Frequency
Hit apply - observe the #
Hit Go
Hit apply - observe the #
Hit Go
Write down the #
If it changes a lot please message Mitch
Transmitter (left of the screen)
Do the same thing that you did for Frequency
Hit close and hit Go to run the sequence
For MRI Accreditation T1 set up like normal off of both locations
