Problem Solving- During implementation of problem solving, the organization looks to achieve 5 goals.
1. Define a problem or problems within an organization.
2. Gather data or any other evidence that contribute to that problem.
3. Consider possible outcomes both positive and negative.
4. Make decisions that are supported and will benefit the organization the most.
5. Evaluate the intervention as it is being implemented.
Strategic Planning - Organization leaders ask the performance improvement practitioner to help with identifying it’s vision, mission, values, and critical issues (Van Tiem, 2012).
Appreciative Inquiry- While focusing on what works well for an organization this implementation looks at the organization from an optimistic view. This allows for the managerial staff to develop a positive plan that will yield a positive outcome.
Outsourcing - If you want to make sure that your outsourcing experience ends up being successful, make sure that you follow these essential steps on how to outsource (Singer, 2013).
1. Clearly define the project and the skills before contracting.
2. Set up specific and measurable goals to attain with the project. Make sure you understand and communicate performance expectations.
3. Clearly state the end product and the deadline as well as the necessary resources.
4. Once you hire the expert/consultant/extra hand, request a detailed plan with activities and deadlines.
5. Have a clear map to measure the performance of the freelancer working for you and provide regular performance feedback.

Culture/Organizational Culture- Organizational culture is best implemented from the top. A healthy organization culture, can be positively infectious, when promoted and encouraged by leadership.
Diversity/Inclusion Strategies- When implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, it helps to know about the culture of an organization to ensure a strong implementation process. The creation and success of teams can be greatly affected by this. Tracking goals against outcomes, diversity quotient, sensitivity, and training monitoring are key.

Ethics-An organization should have a transparent and accessible written code of guidelines and legal responsibilities that are to be followed by all employees.
Decision Making- To implement decision making the board that is making the decisions must fairly represent the face and make-up of the company and based on honest and unbiased opinions.
Team Strategies - There are seven levels of strategies that can assist the improvement practitioner with building an exceptional team (Be Exceptional Teams, 2017).
Virtual Teams- It is important to be mindful of the challenges associated with implementing virtual teams (Garff, 2011).
Environmental Scanning- By implementing this strategic planning technique organizations can support long-term economic growth of the organization.
