Environmental Scanning- A strategic planning technique used to evaluate external sources that could have an impact on an organizations operation. The impact freezing weather may have on peach blossoms and the future price of peaches is an example of environmental scanning.
Appreciative Inquiry- A process and philosophy also known as AI in which systems in an organization are awarded or appreciated due to the accomplishments it has brought to the organization.
Outsourcing – Using a different company outside the organization to assist with developing an area of work.
Benchmarking- It is important to establish a systematic way of comparing an organizations practices to that of similar organizations as to stay ahead of new trends and work methods.
Balance Scorecard-A performance management and measurement tool used by organizations to track their progress toward a specific goal. It usually incorporates financial factors, opinions of customers and internal learning processes.
Dashboards – Performance tools that company’s use to display data updating or assisting leaders in the company at both summary and detailed levels.

Culture/Organizational Culture- An organization's culture can be defined by their display of shared beliefs, values, and behaviors. “Treat your people well and they’ll treat you well.” – Herb Kelleher
Diversity Strategy- Using factors such as physical, cultural, age, gender, religious backgrounds, education, sexual, and/or race to make or plan for the improvement of an organization.
Globalization/Localization - Globalization is distributing or producing merchandise for different cultures in world organization or company. Localization - is customizing the application for different culture on local level.
Social Responsibility- An organization has a social responsibility to practice in a manner that promotes the future strength of those within the corporate environment, while improving the well-being of communities that support the organization. Ben & Jerry’s is an example of how an organization operates to create linked prosperity for everyone that’s connected to our business: suppliers, employees, farmers, franchisees, customers, and neighbors alike (Ben & Jerry's, 2019).
Ethics- Is theunderstanding of the difference between what we "should" or "should not do" (Fremgen, 2012). Details that impact making an ethical choice may be varied based on differences in culture, organizations, and situations. Organization's that support a strong philosophy in morals have a higher rate of making morally correct choices.
Inclusion Strategy- Using factors that indicate the degree that a job is performed in respect to to values and respect of the cultures the job is performed in.
Decision Making- Making decisions that will support the good or positive outcome of the organization.
