Two First Red Candle Route
Created by Breastickle, this is a fairly safe 2 first route that has netted PBs for a few people.This route is highly recommended if you are not comfortable running the 3 first WR route.A few notes about the route. Depending on your rupy count, you can purchase Meat and Arrows either after 3 or 4 allowing you to whistle to 3 and save a few screens of time. There is also the option to get a potion before 9 if you want extra safety.Get the Wooden Sword out of the cave on the starting screenMake your way to Level 2After leaving Level 2, get the 30 SECRET under the ArmosGet the 30 SECRET one screen northGet the HEART CONTAINER one screen westGet the WHITE SWORD from the cave over the waterfall (enter the screen, exit and reenter in order to get a favorable spawn for the Lynel that is on the screen)Another trick here that Eunos and Breastickle found out, is that if you don't reset the screen and get the sword, you can skip the Stalfos key on the right as you enter 1 (get the key in 9 instead) and the Stalfos in the water room with the key will spawn right in the middle of your path, saving you some seconds.Enter Level 1After leaving Level 1, get the 30 SECRET north of startEnter Level 3At any time after 3 or 4, if you have 140 rupies, it is suggested you buy MEAT and ARROWS to save some time later.Enter Level 4Wrap toward the graveyard, but instead go south and do a world wrap (something I like to call a Wormhole) to the LADDER HEARTGo north and get the RAFT HEARTMake your way to Level 5After leaving Level 5, use the Recorder to warp to Level 3 (or to 4 if you need to get MEAT and ARROWS)Buy MEAT from the blue ring shop and ARROWS from the shop on the screen below if you haven't already purchased after Level 3 or 4Enter Level 7Get the RED CANDLEAfter leaving Level 7, scroll to the graveyardCollect the MAGIC SWORD from the old man at the graveEnter Level 6After leaving Level 6, use the Recorder to warp to Level 2Enter Level 8After leaving Level 8, use the Recorder to warp to Level 1OPTIONAL: Get a RED POTION from the Pick Any location south of 1Enter Level 9
