COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

At Orautoha School we encourage active participation of community in our school. We have parents and other community members helping at the school whenever possible. These people are of great benefit to our children and staff. If you would like to be involved please contact the principal.

There are many opportunities for the community to be involved in the school in a relaxed social way

· Inter-school activities and many more

COMMUNICATION AND CONSULTATION

We feel it is important that we let you know what is happening in your school at all times. We do this through regular newsletters, Facebook and informal gatherings.

We also feel it is very important for you to have you say in your school. We organize questionnaires and meeting to discuss issues that affect us all.

REPORTING TO PARENTS

We have parent/teacher conferences once a term with a written report sent out reporting on progress and one end of the year report reporting on achievement.
