Football in France is the most practised with 2 millions of licences, France has won the world cup twice, in 1998 and 2018.

Handball:

In France, handball has 550,000 members. The French Men’s Handball Team has been World Champion 6 times and Olympic Champion twice and the Women’s Team has been World Champion twice.

Tour de France:

Every year since 1903 France has been one of the largest competition in cycling. Cyclists from around the world join the race.

Other sports associations:

France is a great sport nation and is the fourteenth largest sport nation. Each city has a large sports association.
