Today students used the Gizmo Simulation for Fishing and had to collect evidence to make a claim for why some ponds contained trout why other ponds did not contain trout. No assignment was given but data was collected in order to make a data table and a graph during tomorrow's class.

Science: The Fodey.com assignment was turned in today. Students earned 2 points if it was completed and they were shared through a gallery walk in class.
Today we continued to work on using Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning to solve a problem in science. Students mixed baking soda with vinegar and had to solve the question "Is anything new created when these two items are mixed?" In the end a balloon was inflated when these items mixed so our evidence showed a gas was created during the chemical change.
