Easy?
How tempting is it to abandon your meaningful goals, dreams, and aspirations?
Very!!
You might already be feeling the tug of the countless distractions that surround you, and that includes the appeal of ‘Easy’, which comes in the form of junk food, video games, hanging out with people who choose ‘Easy’, or embracing limiting beliefs, and spreading them to others unconsciously. It is basically succumbing to the marketing agenda, which often manipulates our cognitive biases and convinces us to do things that are not good for us, or not aligned with our values. And many people fall for those traps of ‘Easy’
What does ‘Easy’ look like? Example: You want to learn a new language. What is ‘Easy’, use a translator app. You want to become a respected leader and make an impact? What is ‘Easy’? Let’s imitate someone else’s style, do something that is not authentic, a shortcut, and then start making a difference.
That approach of ‘Easy’ won’t take you very far. All those easy tricks and tactics will crumble sooner or later. I have seen enough examples in my personal life, where ‘Easy’ has destroyed many professionals.
Difficult?
Doing difficult examples - Many innovators and leaders have been around for decades because they never settled for the easy way out. They still practice, they still teach, they still learn, and stay consistent with their learning and routines.
It is challenging to acquire a challenging skill, learn a challenging methodology, innovate and adapt, listen to your own intuition, and not get influenced by the opinion of others, stay consistent/patient, and work daily on your goals, as it demands discipline, patience, courage, faith, continuous motivation, and desire.
Do ‘Hard’ for a long time, and hard becomes ‘Easy’, and you would build enough resilience to last for a long time to come. The world needs more people who can do ‘Hard’, become Masters in their craft, and change the world."
“Don’t let the distractions of ‘Easy’ derail you from your path of excellence. Choose ‘Hard’ and become a master of your craft.”
“The option of ‘Easy’ is a trap that will keep you from reaching your full potential. Choose ‘Hard’ and enjoy the rewards of your hard work.”
“The choice between ‘Easy’ or ‘Hard’ is the choice between mediocrity or greatness. Choose ‘Hard’ and change the world with your skills.”
“The temptation of ‘Easy’ is a false promise that will lead you to failure. Choose ‘Hard’ and build resilience, confidence, and success.”
“The lure of ‘Easy’ is a deception that will rob you of your growth and improvement. Choose ‘Hard’ and learn, innovate, and inspire.”
Choosing ‘Hard’ is good for you because it helps you do what you really care about, and makes you better at it. It also helps you listen to yourself, and not worry about what others think. It helps you work hard every day, and makes you happy and successful. Choosing ‘Hard’ also helps you avoid choosing ‘Easy’, which can make you sad and fail.
