A Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist (SA) is a SAFe Enterprise leadership professional who leads and sustains the Lean-Agile transformation. Key areas of competency include the application of Lean-Agile mindset and principles, the release of value through Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and building an Agile portfolio to align strategy and execution.
Designation awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a deep understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 6.0, an agile methodology designed for large organizations. SAFe 6 Agilists have demonstrated their knowledge and proficiency in implementing SAFe at scale, and are able to apply the principles and practices of the framework to real-world scenarios.
To become a Certified SAFe 6 Agilist, individuals must first complete a two-day SAFe Agilist training course, which covers the fundamental concepts of SAFe, including Agile development, Lean product development, and DevOps. After completing the course, participants must pass an online exam to become certified.
The SAFe 6 Agilist certification is valuable for individuals who are interested in working in large organizations that use the SAFe framework. It demonstrates a deep understanding of the methodology, and shows that the individual has the skills and knowledge necessary to help organizations successfully implement SAFe.
Individuals who hold a SAFe 6 Agilist certification may be able to pursue a variety of roles within organizations that use SAFe, including Agile coach, Scrum Master, or product owner. In addition, the certification may also be valuable for individuals who work in IT or software development, as SAFe is often used in these industries to improve efficiency and productivity.
