The MBTI helps you learn more about yourself and what you like which based on an idea by a psychologist named Jung, and was made by two women named Myers and Briggs a long time ago.
The MBTI has four parts that measure how you:
Get and use energy
From people (E) or from yourself (I)
Learn new things
From facts (S) or from ideas (N)
Make choices
With logic (T) or with feelings (F)
Deal with the world
With plans (J) or with flexibility (P)
By mixing these four parts, the MBTI gives you one of 16 types that tell you how you see the world and what you do. The MBTI is used for many things, like finding a good job, working well with others, and talking better.
Taking a test or talking to an expert to know your type
Finding out what your type means for your workplace
Maybe look for alternate jobs that match your type
Thinking about how different jobs match your type’s needs and values
Asking for help and tips from people who have the same type or know the job
Learning from other types and getting better at things that are hard for your type
The MBTI is not the only thing that matters in choosing a job, You can also think about other things such as your abilities, education, experience, market demand, and so on.
(You may use MBTI in your personal life too)
Learn more about yourself and others, talk better, solve problems, make choices, and have fun with people who are different or similar to you.
Find out how you like to learn, what you are good at, what you need to improve, and how to change to different ways of teaching and learning.
Find out more about your soul and how it grows, what you can do well and what you need to watch out for, and different ways of being spiritual that fit your type.
(Optional) Improve your skills that are not natural to your type
Choose what and why you want to improve for your goals.
Get feedback and advice from people with the opposite preference or skill. For example, ask an Extravert how to communicate better.
Practice the opposite preference or skill in low-risk situations and learn from errors. For example, guess the end of a movie or game to improve your intuition.
Reflect on and assess your experience. Ask what went well, what didn’t, and what to change next time.
Balance your development with your natural type. Use it as a base to grow from.
(Optional) To communicate better with other types
Know your type and communication style
Know the type and communication style of others
Adapt your communication style to the audience
Learn from other types and develop your skills
The MBTI helps you communicate better by increasing your self-awareness and understanding of others, and showing you how to adapt, learn, and grow.
