Olshanski’s construction of Yangian as a coset algebra
35 years ago Grisha invented a very simple construction of Yangian as the subalgebra in the universal enveloping algebra of gl(n+m) commuting with gl(m). It was a beautiful idea and it has several generalizations. I will try to explain some of them and also formulate an applcation to integrable systems (gl(n)–gl(m) duality).
