Throughout the semester, I found that doing the Weekly Check-Ins was a great outlet to allow and let my professor see where I was succeeding, where I was struggling, and how I was personally doing each week. The Weekly Check-Ins sometimes were more about my students, my mentor teacher, or how my lessons went. However, sometimes I would mostly talk about how I was doing and feeling about being in Practicum. Each week was very different in terms of discussions with students, student interactions, guidance from my mentor teacher, and how I was doing. This semester has been rough personally and so I appreciated the feedback I would always receive from the Weekly Check- Ins and the Intentional Focused Observations.
