The goal of this assignment was to work with a student from another discipline (English or Social Studies). We will be creating list of resouces, texts, and or artifacts that would be used in a unit plan for the future. This is a pitch that would be used as a cross disciplinary lesson plan for students. While creating this pitch we will deliver it and incorporate the Guided Critical Inquiry, Central Focus, Summative Measure of Learning, and Rationale. We will annotate the sources compromised of a summary, approach/strategies, affordance and limitations of the unit plan, along with the benefits. We will also incorporate the assessments and how student learning is measured.
Below I am attaching the Cross Curricular Pitch that my peer and I worked on and developed. Our final assessment for students will be a Research Paper for students in English and Museum Walk through of presentations in history related to the content in the lesson.
