Brief History of SARS-CoV

SARS-CoV is a coronavirus that broke out causing a pandemic of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in a pandemic in November 2002.

What is SARS-CoV

This virus, as it says in its name, affects the respiratory system and makes other complications possible as well such as pneumonia. This virus hasn't been reported since 2004, so there is no need to worry about this exact virus.

Symptoms

This virus' symptoms include, of course, affecting you respiratory system, but also include headaches, other aches, ~15% of the time patients get diarrhoea. 2-7 days after the virus infects your body, you might develop a dry cough. Most people get pneumonia.

Vaccines

While this virus was still around, no one created a vaccine. This is worrying for the 2019-2020 Coronavirus, as it is rocking the world.

Advice

As this virus is no longer active, it would be foolish to be worried. But if it was still active we would give the same advice as with Covid-19, stay at home, practice good hygiene and be extra careful when interacting with other people.
