The Old Wakefield School has been a landmark for generations. Built in the mid-20th century, it served as an elementary school under the Western Quebec School Board.
In 2017, the school board sold the property to private ownership. Since then, the site has been under our care and protection, with the intention of bringing it back to life in ways that benefit both residents and the wider Wakefield community.
We recognize the emotional and cultural significance of this place. Our goal is to preserve its memory while adapting it to new community needs.
