The City of Waterloo is replacing the existing play structure at Old Post Park in the fall of 2021. The play structure replacement will include the expansion of the existing playground area, as well as the addition of a new seating area, a drop curb/ramp for accessibility, new play equipment, new safety surfacing, and new tree planting. Before selecting the final playground design, the City of Waterloo will conduct a community engagement survey for the preferred playground design. Once available from the City of Waterloo, the final two playground design options will be posted to this page.
Help the City of Waterloo design the new playground features and park amenities by giving your feedback in the community engagement survey. Take the survey here.
