For any pregnant student or student mom. This is a place to build relationships, support each other, and
celebrate being a mom. We provide helpful tips and resources to offer practical wisdom, life skills, and
support.
Cornerstone of Hope
Leaders: Nate Herr
In-school 8- week grief support groups are available to students who have experienced the death of a
loved one. This grief support group is designed to allow students to come together and receive age -
appropriate grief support amongst the familiarity of their schoolmates. Students will gain a better
understanding of the grief process and learn healthy ways to cope with their feelings of grief.

ROX
Leaders: Heather Syrett, Stacy Alonzo, Natalie Charlton
ROX (Ruling Our Experiences) is a 20 session evidence-based curriculum to help girls succeed in
relationships, academics and life by building their confidence and self esteem. ROX provides support,
motivation, connection and education to girls in the areas of their lives where and when they need it
most.
Freshman Success (9th grade only)
Leaders: Jenn Patton and Katie Bryant
If the transition to high school is harder than you thought and you want some extra support and
guidance, this group is for you! We will focus on building strong school habits and communication skills
to be successful in high school.
Lotus Group: Finding Peace in Muddy Waters
Leader: Megan Halpin, Syntero School-Based Clinician
Lotus flowers are known for their resilience, growing in floods and surviving drought. This group will
teach students skills to find peace during life’s challenges and times of difficult emotions. Topics will
include mindfulness and relaxation, self-care, developing helpful thought patterns, and more!
Be Bold: Build Your Social Confidence
Leader: Megan Halpin, Syntero School-Based Clinician
Are you missing out because social anxiety holds you back? Students in this group will learn how to ease
feelings of shyness, start reaching their social goals, and create lasting and rewarding connections.
**All groups include students in 9th-12th grade unless noted otherwise.
