The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship helps students interested in computer science with the support of up to $40,000 in college funding and internship opportunities at Amazon.
Today’s students are tomorrow’s engineers. Amazon is taking action to expand opportunities for students to study computer science and related fields, so they can build the future.
To apply students must:
Be a high school senior in the U.S. who is currently enrolled in or who has completed a high school or college dual degree course where computer science is the subject. Students who have not taken a computer science course can opt-in to take an assessment offered by Amazon.
Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other computer science related fields of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
Demonstrate financial need.
Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Employment Authorized to work in the United States.

The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement with the support of Designetics and The Ohio Council of Community Schools, is proud to offer several STEM Goes Red Scholarships with the goal of bridging the gap between student interests in pursuing a career in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and achieving their goals. The Toledo STEM Goes Red Scholarship will award four (4) scholarships to qualifying applicants. There will be two (2) $1,000 scholarships, one (1) $500 scholarship and one (1) $250 scholarship awarded.
Qualification Requirements:
Current or previous Toledo STEM Goes Red event participant, OR a 6th -12th grade student currently attending a school within 6 major counties of the Toledo Metro area ( Lucas County, Wood County, Fulton County, Henry County, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties)
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Female
U.S. citizen/permanent resident of the U.S.
Applying for funding for the following:
Future attendance at a college or university with the intent to major in a STEM-related field
Future attendance at a vocational or technical trade institution with a focus on earning a degree/certificate in a STEM-related field
Past award recipients are not eligible to re-apply.
In addition to meeting the scholarship qualifications, a review committee will select finalists based on:
Academic achievement
Interest and commitment to pursue a career in a STEM field
Five (5) paragraph essay (500 words maximum, typed, one-sided and provided in a separate word document from application) which addresses two of the application questions.
Application submissions for the 2025-2026 STEM Goes Red Scholarship will be accepted via email to ahatoledo@heart.org between the dates of November 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026.
The BBB® Center for Ethics Students of Integrity Scholarship opens January 14, 2025. This essay-based scholarship invites high school seniors to reflect on an ethical dilemma in a 500–1,000-word personal essay. It’s not based on GPA or test scores- just character and critical thinking.
This year’s prompt explores hustle culture and the ethical implications of the pressure high schoolers face. Six students will each receive $5,000 this spring to use at any accredited university, college, or vocational school.
