Every student at OHVA has a support team for academic, personal/social, and future college/career needs. In addition to the support team of staff (teachers, Intervention Specialists, advisors, school psychologists, school social workers, and administration, your high school counselors provide individual and group support for students. School counselors will make every effort to keep information shared by OHVA students, parents, teachers and support staff private and confidential, unless information results in the possibility of a student's safety being at risk. In this case, appropriate authorities must be notifed.

This video is a very informative and helpful way to learn what to do to help prevent harm being done to somebody. It also provides information on what to do if you know there is harm being done to someone.

The Crisis Support Team would like you to visit their website to help prepare your family for the holidays. If your family has experienced a hardship this year, or if the holidays are a difficult time, we want to help connect you with resources to hopefully make it a little bit brighter! Most deadlines for holiday assistance are set for October, so be sure to reach out before the deadlines pass.
