Volunteer

Volunteering is what brings the Ocean Action Project directly into your community. Without our extensive network of selfless volunteers, our grassroots efforts to help protect our oceans would end merely as an idea. Across the country, teams of volunteers unite to perform thousands of hours of crucial work helping to make our oceans and beaches clean, safe, sustainable, and accessible for all. And they have a lot of fun doing it! OAP volunteers help by:

• Organizing beach cleanup efforts

• Planning and hosting events to engage their communities

• Staffing OAP offices and supporting the organization

• Leading recycling drives around the country
