Registration

Step 1: Notification of open sports registrations will be via this page, a message on the Oakura school app, notices in the various local school newsletters, and via the OJSC facebook page. 

Step 2: Follow the instructions provided for registration and payment for each sport. Please volunteer to help in any capacity if you can.

Step 3: Check your emails/facebook for teams (note that all children that want to play that sport will be put in a team if there is a team suitable).

Step 4: Stay in touch with your coach and enjoy your sport.

If you have a question, contact the relevant sport coordinator. The committee is often looking for new sports coordinators so if you are keen to be involved, please make contact with someone on the committee. We would love to hear from you.

A fee is charged for each sport a child plays. These fees are set so that they cover the affiliation fees to the Taranaki association (where relevant), sporting equipment, uniforms and any other direct costs for the teams. Fees are kept to a minimum.

Fees are paid online using KINDO  except for football which is through Sporty - details will be given with the registration information for each sport. If you need help logging on to any of the systems, please contact someone from the committee.

If larger projects need funding (eg new cricket nets or football goals), then these are funded through Grants and fundraising. 

The OJSC Code of Conduct is listed on our facebook page and can also be found on the online store and on this website. It is expected all members, coaches and supporters will abide by this Code of Conduct.
