Regionally-allocated PLD supports the professional learning needs specific to your school, kura, Kāhui Ako or cluster. Allocation decisions are made by regional allocation panels, rather than a central Ministry team.

cultural capability
local curriculum design
assessment for learning.
The new priorities for Māori medium and te reo Māori settings are:
mātauranga and te reo Māori
marau ā-kura
aromatawai.
Digital fluency remains a priority in all settings.

The Teacher-led Innovation Fund (TLIF) supports teams of qualified teachers from early learning services, ngā kōhanga reo, schools and kura to collaboratively develop innovative practices that improve learning outcomes.

Mathematics and statistics related reports
This project specifically targeted Year 9 and 10 mathematics students in one secondary school with the aim to benefit these students by enhancing their mathematical understanding as reflected in their ability to talk and write about mathematical concepts and processes.
This project enabled the teachers to free themselves from traditional curriculum thinking and devise new structures to investigate the potential of integrated learning.
